HOUSTON – With two books and a baking business under their belts and, Nigel and Shane Mushambi are thriving entrepreneurs.
But for these teens, their real success comes from giving back to others.
The Missouri City brothers explained to Houston Life how they’re spreading kindness and gratitude to teachers with a sweet new project called “Sweet Compassion”.
Yesterday we delivered 150 cookies to Thornton Middle School just because we wanted to say Thank You!!! #SweetCompassion #2brositk#teamwork #thorntonmiddleschool #teacherareheroestoo #JBDondolo

“We created this project to encourage teachers during this time. We just thought a lot of teachers during this time are sacrificing their health and bodies to teach the next generation. So, we are planning to give out 1,000 cookies and we don’t really plan to stop there,” said Nigel, who mentioned that anyone can sponsor teachers by donating via their website.
Even though they are still young, the Mushambi brothers are used to doing charity work.
Since launching their baking business 2 Brothers in the Kitchen in 2018, Nigel and Shane have donated over two hundred meals to the homeless, $1,000 for a hospital in Zimbabwe, and countless desserts to charities.
These talented brothers are also authors of the book “Beyond the Kitchen: How to Cook up Success with Life’s Mistakes” and the coloring and activity book called “Dear Legacy,” about unleashing the vision, confidence, and power of African American girls, boys, and teens.
