Some of us have deep, dark secrets – and this week’s Houston Life Wine Club, poured by H-E-B has some secrets too! Our featured wine comes to us from Napa Valley, California, and is a rich Cabernet with notes of black cherry, dark chocolate, and vanilla. It’s called “Secret Indulgence Tarot Cabernet Sauvignon” and was created by 13 wine makers from France and California. The winemaker says, “Just like wine, Tarot is always whispering to you. It weaves truth, stories, secrets and tales. All you need to do is slow down and listen.”
One thing that really sets this wine apart is the beautiful art on the label. Each bottle features a different image of a Medieval Tarot card, and after each vintage is sold out, the images are replaced with new ‘cards.’ Just like a great conversation, this rich, bold Napa Valley Cab will leave you wanting to take your time and sip slowly.
