HOUSTON – Alvin ISD’s Coach Robert Moore has been teaching for over 2 decades in the same red Converse shoes.
He has coached swimming and water polo for 20 years, English, language arts, reading and writing, and also intro to computer science.
Most students will recognize Mr. Moore not only as a great coach and teacher, but also because of a very special Friday dress code he’s been wearing since 1996.
Coach Moore is retiring after this year, and he will definitely be missed!
Harby Junior High is one of Alvin ISD’s oldest campuses, and after this year it will undergo a complete renovation.
