HOUSTON – Houston’s own Megan Thee Stallion and Southern Black Girls have teamed up for a special bus tour that’s bringing joy and empowerment to young girls.
The ‘Joy Is Our Journey Dream Bus Tour’ was created to connect and educate young girls with one another in a fun, supportive, safe space in collaboration with Megan’s Pete and Thomas Foundation.
The bus makes it’s Houston stop at Texas Southern University this afternoon, and welcomes black girls, young women, and gender-expansive youth ages 12 through 24.
The event is part food truck, part block party, featuring health and wellness resources, a little STEM education, music and dancing. Sounds super fun!
