Watson grew up singing with her musical family at the Lone Star Cowboy Church in Montgomery, Texas, the largest cowboy church in the world.
It was there where McCollum heard the newcomer, whom he praised for “her voice, the look, and the way she connects with people,” said the country superstar.
Watson has already opened for many stars such as Josh Ward, Joe Nichols, Jon Wolfe, Kevin Fowler, Flatland Cavalry, and Jack Ingram.
And this week she released a new music video for her single “Cinderella Slipper” which also showcases her talent as a songwriter.
