Attention all families and dog owners, this one’s for you! Levy Park is hosting their 5th annual ‘Howl-o-ween’ Dog Parade and Costume Contest presented by H-E-B this Sunday! A few furry friends stopped by our studio today to show off their PAWsome costumes and get you ready for what’s in-store.
If you’re interested in bringing your best bud, the event kicks off with a pup parade around the park! After the parade, all costume contestants will strut their stuff on the runway for a chance to win pup-tastic prizes! All kids in costumes will have the opportunity to walk the runway, too! Participation in the costume contest for dogs requires pre-registration, and spaces are limited. Registration is free and you can click here if you’d like to register your dog!
The costume contest has three categories which consists of Best Ensemble, Most Creative, and Scariest! The grand prize winner, and winner of each category will all be awarded the Primo Pick! DJ Mohawk will be playing some Howl-o-ween tunes throughout the event and parade to get you in the spooky spirit! Watch the video above to see some of the dogs in their paw-fect costumes!
Levy Park is a vibrant, urban, six-acre park in Houston located in the heart of the Upper Kirby District. The event is this Sunday, October 30th from 4:00-6:00pm. Check-in for pre-registered dogs begins at 2:30pm, with walk-up registration at 3:45pm, only if spots remain, so pre-register NOW! For more information about the park, click here.
