HOUSTON – Our local girl and NBC’s ‘The Voice’ contestant Kim Cruse is BACK on Houston Life! She chatted with Derrick Shore about her run to the Top 8 on NBC’s hit show.
The Woodville native was instantly saved by fans last week and is getting ready to take the stage as one of 8 semifinalists TONIGHT!
Kim shared with Derrick that she’s feeling amped up as things get down to the wire but wouldn’t trade this experience for the world!
As weeks go by, she says she feels super comfortable taking the stage this week, however, as the competition progresses and people get sent home, she mentions it gets harder with time.
Kim thanks all of her friends and family, whom she calls “CRUSERS” for supporting throughout her journey, as she’s so far from home.
With a sultry and jazz touch to her singing, she plans to bring her performance back to those jazzy roots, that she used during her live audition.
