Celebrate Black History Month with Black Cowboy Legacy Rodeo

FORT BEND COUNTY – The 4th Annual Black Cowboy Legacy Rodeo celebrates Black History Month by honoring the legacies of Black Cowboys and Educators in Fort Bend County.

Grab your boots and your hat! The Rodeo is set to take place Saturday February 11th. The Fort Bend History Association and the Rodeo Committee invite the entire community to join and celebrate at George Ranch Historical Park!

There will be live entertainment, food, arts and craft vendors, and the Rodeo competition including ‘Mutton-Bustin’ for the kids!

All kids activities are provided by Richmond’s YMCA.

Ms. Debra Greenwood-Sharp, board member of the Fort Bend History Association and Founder of the Black Cowboy Legacy Rodeo spoke to us today about the annual event, what to expect during live entertainment, and how to register to compete in the competition.
