HOUSTON – She stars in one of the most talked-about reality shows on TLC!
Dr. April Carter from ‘90 Day Fiancé: Love In Paradise’ is dishing about her relationship with her long-distance boyfriend Valentin.
The hit series follows couples who met in an island paradise and attempt to join their vastly different lifestyles together and transform a fling into a meaningful long-term relationship.
Dr. Carter is a local physician who specializes in acute care medicine, and a successful businesswoman who owns 2 HOTWORX locations, 1 in the Memorial Villages area of Houston and 1 in Lake Charles.
She also has a luxury transportation business in the Dominican Republic, and while she was there, she met 26-year-old Valentin.
The show follows her journey flying from Houston to spending time with Valentin’s family in Santo Domingo and later, how the socio-economical and cultural differences between them come to light.
Dr. Carter addresses some of the comments she has received online and explained the reason why a physician and entrepreneur would take part in a reality show.
