HOUSTON – Calla Prejean has been a singer/songwriter since she was 17 years old and representing Houston and Nashville in the new season of “The Voice.” Originally from Richmond, Calla moved to Nashville to pursue music education right after high school.
So far, she has worked as a personal assistant to country artist Sara Evans, a huge learning experience for Calla as she got to see how Sara balanced touring, creating music, and family. Calla has also released music videos and singles called “Self-Sabotage” and “Solo,” which were played on the radio.
And now, she recently went through The Voice’s blind auditions and was picked by Gwen Stefani to join her team.
