HOUSTON – The 30th live racing season at Sam Houston Race Park kicks off January 5th with a full slate of events for the entire family, including live thoroughbred racing, delicious food, cocktails and live music.
Opening night features eight races with a 6:30 pm start time.
Friday night post times will be 6:30p with Saturday and Sunday schedules starting at 1:00 p.m.
Guests can enjoy live music on Friday nights, drink specials, and lots more!
In addition to opening night, the Houston Racing Festival will be on January 27, Wiener Dog Racing will be on February 2, and Texas Preview Day will be on February 17.
