Houston-based Nigerian Author and filmmaker details her experience bridging the gap between cultures

Houston – As a Nigerian born Igbo woman living in the United States, Nkem Denchukwu knows a thing or two about culture.

Denchukwu is a mother of four, filmmaker and author she has expressed her culture and experiences in her 13 published books and 14 films.

According to her website, Nkem has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Networking and a master’s degree in Health Services Administration but her real love is in the arts of filmmaking and creative writing. 

When she’s not being creative on paper, she’s with her children, cooking, entertaining and working towards bridging the gap between cultures.
