The Volunteers Putting the Love Behind the Nails that Build a Habitat Home

HOUSTON – Volunteers add the special ingredient to every Houston Habitat for Humanity Home.

That ingredient?

Love.

Jacob Starr from Houston Habitat for Humanity said their homes almost always pass inspection and he puts it down to all the love volunteers bring to every building site.

For eleven years, the team at KPRC 2 have signed up to volunteer and help build a home for a Houston family. You can follow the progress as the latest home takes shape by clicking the link here.

Abacus Plumbing volunteers joined the Habitat build site for the first time last year and everyone loved being part of the process so much that the team jumped at the chance to make a contribution again in 2024.
