HOUSTON – Discovery Green is known for it’s amazing outdoor family-friendly events, all set to the beautiful backdrop of downtown Houston.
We love ice skating in the winter time, but this weekend they are rolling out another popular one – the outdoor roller rink!
If you’ve never been to the rink before, it’s a must visit! You’ve got to come down and see how Houston rolls at this Instagram-worthy spot fun for all ages.
Admission is only $12 plus tax, and includes skate rental, and they always have fun themed nights.
Proceeds support Discovery Green Conservancy’s mission, park maintenance and free cultural programs.
Opening night is Friday, February 9 from 5-11 pm, with performances by Daisies and Pancakes and music by DJ Yung Chris. The first 50 skaters in line will skate for free!
The outdoor roller rink will be open through March 31, and it’s perfect spot for when the kids are out of school for spring break.
