Houston – Houston-based author and attorney Tate Barkley is speaking his truth in his latest memoir, “Sunday Dinners, Moonshine, and Men.”
During his interview with Houston Life, Barkley chronicles his journey of overcoming poverty, and alcoholism, as well as navigating the strained relationship with his alcoholic father. He tells us for years, he lived in shame while dealing with life’s adversities all while concealing his sexuality.
Now 25 years sober, Barkley is sharing his deeply personal experiences with the hope of inspiring others who may be facing similar challenges, encouraging them to be honest with themselves and to reach out for help.
