HOUSTON – there’s one thing you MUST do during your trip out to RodeoHouston, it’s stop by the carnival!
From hundreds of games, food stands and live entertainment - the HLSR carnival is its own unique attraction.
Well, if you’ve ever tried to win prizes at the carnival game booths then know this – that stuffed animal you’re about to take home didn’t come to the rodeo pre-stuffed…they do a ton of the toy/prize stuff on the carnival grounds!
Think of it as a similar setup as the popular kids bear-stuffing spot in the Galleria. (you know which one we’re talkin’ about!)
The RCS Carnival Team gets in about a week ahead of the Rodeo kickoff and has a big job to do…stuff thousands of toys!
Some toys do come already stuffed, but since the carnival will go through so many toys – they must be able to quickly re-stuff more on site.
We were lucky enough to get a special behind-the-scenes look at the toy stuffing machine, and how it works!
