HOUSTON – It’s one of the top outdoor art festivals in the country, and you can find it happening right here in Houston this weekend.
The Bayou City Art Festival features the work of more than 200 artists in 19 different art disciplines.
With this event, visitors get the chance to meet with exhibiting artists and purchase world-class art, prints, jewelry and so much more - directly from the artists who create them.
This year’s featured artist is Karina Llergo. She is a mixed media artist from Chicago.
“This art show (Bayou City Art Festival) was my first art show in Texas, and it’s my favorite art show around the nation. I was really excited to be chosen. It’s just a privilege,” Llergo said.
Experience the Bayou City Art Festival Downtown Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24 at Sam Houston Park along Allen Parkway.
