From the comic book series, join Dog Man and his pals on a tail-wagging musical on stage

Enter the weird and quirky world of “Dog Man: The Musical”.

Based on the bestselling worldwide comic book series by Dav Pilkey, this epic adventure follows two fifth graders and best buds, Harold and George, as they elevate their love of comics into a musical extravaganza. Pilkey is also the creator of his “Captain Underpants” series.

The musical stars Dog Man, the canine crime-fighting hero who is part man and part dog. He loves to chew on furniture and save the city from mischievous characters like the cyborg fish Flippy and the feline villain Petey.

Two of the stars from the show visited Derrick and Tessa with a preview of the high-energetic show that is sure to have you and your family laughing out loud. Watch their full interview in the video above.

Presented by TheatreWorksUSA, this lovable cast of characters is brought to life on stage. The show was a massive success during its seven-week run at the Center Theatre Group in Los Angeles as the highest-grossing production in the Kirk Douglas Theatre’s history. Before arriving in Houston, the show toured in Dallas, Chicago, and Phoenix.
