HOUSTON – Not only are so many people still picking up the pieces after last week’s storms, but tons of displaced animals continue to be affected as well.
Houston Pets Alive! has teamed up with BARC Animal Shelter to provide immediate care, and help facilitate adoptions to find as many safe, fur-ever homes as possible.
HPA! is actively responding to the aftermath of the severe storm that struck Houston last week.
All of the animals at HPA! are safe, and their dedicated team is working diligently to relocate animals to secure homes while they address the damage.
HPA! is working closely with partner shelters like BARC to provide immediate care, and needs the Houston community’s support to help keep animals safe and comfortable during this difficult time.
And with today being National Dog Rescue Day, what better way to celebrate than with Houston Pets Alive! and BARC Animal Shelter.
Together they are committed to help to increase adoptions, volunteers, pet retention for new owners, and to help find more positive rescue/foster outcomes for shelter pets.
Any amount of help is greatly appreciated, even if it’s fostering an animal for just one night to get them out of the shelter.
If you can’t commit to adoption or fostering, you can check out each of their wish lists to see if there are other ways you can help. Click HERE for HPA!, and click HERE for BARC.
Watch as Lauren Kelly chats with Noelle Delgado, Executive Director of HPA! and Cory Stottlemyer, BARC Deputy Shelter Director and Director of Communications all about the support these two organizations need at this time.
