HOUSTON – If you love bacon, we’ve got info on the perfect weekend plans for you - Texas’ first-ever Bacon Festival!
This one-of-a-kind event will feature over 140 vendors, each carrying at least one creative bacon item in their booths.
Unique bacon food Items being offered: bacon pickles, bacon salsa, bacon doughnut burger, kettle cooked cracklins, bacon apple pie, bacon cupcakes, breakfast latte with maple syrup and bacon salt topping, fresh hand spun bacon cotton candy, Lake Houston Brewery Bacon Beer, bacon freeze dried skittles, bacon shrimp mac egg rolls, candied bacon, among many others.
The Humble Bacon Festival is this Saturday from 11a-5p at the Humble Civic Center, and will feature all things bacon - as well as contests, vendors, prizes, games and more.
In addition to plenty of unique bacon vendors, live entertainment, and food trucks - there will also be a HUGE kids station with a train, foam station, gellyball, water slides, and a rock wall.
