HOUSTON – Stay Tuned for Vets is making a difference in the lives of veterans and their families. This incredible non-profit organization is dedicated to supporting veterans with mental health challenges and helping them transition to civilian life.
Tim Stroud is a former combat medic who saw firsthand the struggles his fellow veterans faced after transitioning out of the military. Recognizing that traditional veteran organizations did not meet the needs of many veterans, Stroud sought to create a new kind of support network.
With a passion for helping his fellow brothers and sisters, Stroud and his daughter Amber co-founded Stay Tuned for Vets. Their unique and creative approach ensures that veterans and their families stay connected and find their path to recovery through the arts. From dancing, singing, and podcasting to acting, drawing, and photography, the organization provides a creative outlet for veterans to explore their emotions and build a community. By engaging in artistic activities, veterans can find their tribe and stay connected with others who understand their experiences.
