The Ballard House Katy celebrating milestone this summer – 100,000 nights of no-cost housing

HOUSTONThe Ballard House was started by a group of realtors in Katy as a way to give back to the community, and the facility provides temporary housing at no-cost for patients and their families who are undergoing treatment for life-threatening illnesses in Houston.

The facility offers a home-like atmosphere with private rooms, communal kitchens and living areas, fostering a supportive community for guests during difficult times.

This summer they are celebrating their 100,000th night of no-cost housing, but not without the support from our community.

The Ballard House relies entirely on support from individuals and corporations to continue its mission. Contributions of time, money, and resources are essential for its operation.

$100 for 100,000 Nights Campaign: This fundraising initiative invites the community to donate $100, aiming to collectively fund the upcoming milestone of 100,000 nights of housing for patients and their families, ensuring they have a place to stay during their treatment.

Ways you can help: volunteering your time during scheduled workdays to assist with daily operations, maintenance, and events, or purchasing something they need off of their Amazon wishlist.

Watch as Lauren Kelly chats with David Brown, Executive Director of The Ballard House and Naomi Williams, Community Outreach Coordinator all about ways you can help give back to the community.
