HOUSTON – KPRC 2 and our Community Partners at Energy Transfer, Houston Christian University and Exclusive Furniture are shining a spotlight on The Restoration Team and their work to provide free home safety upgrades for families in need.
The non-profit team is dedicated to ensuring that every Houstonian has access to safe, sanitary, and secure housing.

This week, the team was in Northeast Houston to help Darnell Tate and his family’s home with the upgrades in desperately needed.
The home has been in the family for decades -- originally belonged to Darnell’s grandparents, then Darnell’s parents, and now it belongs to him and his sister.
