HOUSTON – Photographer Jodee Friday has always loved photography, but it wasn’t her plan to turn it into a career.
After leaving Texas to go to college and then pursue a career in marketing at an ad agency, Friday left the business world and turned back to her passion.
Now, she travels the world in search of her next adventure -- and she’s found a way to reach a global audience. Society 6 is a website that allows visitors to search and shop artwork and home products from artists and photographers like Friday. It’s also a chance for creatives to focus on what they love: making more art.
