Your energy use can help power the fight against childhood cancer

HOUSTON – It always feels good to give, and Reliant customers have the power to do just that without doing much more than switching on a light with Reliant’s Choose To Give plan. When you enroll in a Choose To Give plan, your energy use helps fund charitable organizations in Texas, and Reliant has just added Texas Children’s Hospital to the list!

Reliant‘s senior director of community relations, Leanne Schneider, and Dr. Will Parsons, Deputy Director of the Cancer and Hematology Center at Texas Children’s Hospital, visited the Houston Life studios to discuss what this means for supporting Texas Children’s in the fight against childhood cancers.

Schneider shared on Houston Life that When you enroll in a Choose to Give plan and select Texas Children’s Hospital, Reliant will make an initial donation of $100 to the hospital. Following this, Reliant will contribute an amount equal to 5% of your monthly energy bills annually.

To support lifesaving pediatric cancer care with a Choose To Give plan, call 1-866-222-7100 or enroll online at reliant.com.
