PROST! Here’s where you can celebrate Oktoberfest in H-Town

Willkommen!

HoustonOktoberfest is here and there are tons of ways to celebrate. If you can’t catch a flight to Munich, Germany, James Simpson, host of “What’s on Tap Radio” brought the brews to us.

Oktoberfest is considered the world’s largest beer festival, attracting millions from across the globe. It’s held annually from Sept. 21 to Oct 16. Approximately 7 million liters of beer are consumed during Oktoberfest. New to the festival this year is the addition of a non-alcoholic beer garden. It’s called Die Nulle (The Zero). Houston Life co-hosts Derrick Shore and Tessa Barrera didn’t need to go far to get their fix.

Here’s what Simson brought for them to try.

1. Saint Arnold: Oktoberfest. 6.6% ABV

2. Boston Beer Company: Samuel Adams Oktoberfest 5.3% ABV

3. Galveston Island Marchtoberfest 4.5% ABV

4. Athletic Brewing: Oktoberfest. (non-alcoholic)

Grab your steins and lederhosen and celebrate Oktoberfest in Houston.
