From family to bakehouses, Joy the Baker shares her love of baking through children’s literature

Joy the Baker, also known as Joy Wilson, is back in the spotlight with a sweet new project for young readers.

Known for her bestselling cookbooks and approachable, playful baking style, Joy is now taking her talents from the kitchen to the world of children’s literature with a charming illustrated book, co-written with her father.

During her recent visit to the ‘Houston Life’ studio, Joy shared how this new endeavor allows her to inspire the next generation of young chefs and share her love of baking with others through what she calls ‘bakehouse’ in her new home at Bellville, TX.

Her new children’s book, ‘The Life-Changing Magic of Baking’, can be purchased online, with signed copies exclusively available at the local bookstore, Blue Willow Bookshop.
