Houston Highland Games bringing Scottish traditions to Humble this weekend
HOUSTON – Get ready for the Houston Highland Games and Celtic Festival!
The traditional Scottish event is happening this Saturday at the Humble Civic Center Arena, and it’s a fun event the whole family will enjoy.
The festival will feature athletic, bagpipe, and Highland dance competitions, as well as Celtic entertainers, genealogy and Scottish storytelling workshops, children’s competitions and games -- and of course -- as whisky tasting!
Watch as Lauren Kelly gives us a special preview of this weekend’s event with the Pipes Band from St. Thomas Episcopal School , as well as a few other traditional activities.
