Zoo Boo returns with slightly spooky fun for the entire family

HOUSTON – It’s that time of year again!

The Houston Zoo’s beloved Zoo Boo is back, with new, slightly spooky attractions and fun for the whole family.

All month long you can get the perfect photo op, walk through a glow-in-the-dark adventure, and even get a chance to see animals enjoy their own Halloween treats.

NEW TO ZOO BOO:

- Ghost Town between Cypress Circle and the giraffe barn

- Glowing Pumpkins near Flamingo Terrace

- Interactive Talking Pumpkins in African Forest and Spooky Forest

ZOO BOO TICKET INFO:

- Guests can bring their little ghouls and goblins, princess and pirates to experience the Zoo all tricked out for Halloween.

- Now through October 31

- Special nights, the Zoo will stay open later so guests can experience the fun when the sun goes down and the Halloween lights go on.

- Zoo Boo is included in general admission; tickets must be reserved online for non-members

- Dates for After Hours: Sept. 27, Oct. 4, 11, 18, and 23-30

Watch as Derrick and Tessa are joined by the Houston Zoo’s Jackie Wallace, Assistant Vice President, Communications & Public Affairs, and Interpretive Specialist Daisy Castro who brought a Box Turtle for Tessa to hold.
