Calling all ghouls and goblins, head to this SPOOK-tacular event at M-K-T with plants, pets, and prizes

Houston – It’s free, it’s fun, and it’s happening this Saturday at M-K-T in The Heights!

Houston Plant Market is teaming up with them for the fifth annual Hike, Bike, and Fright Fest from noon to six on October 26.

There’s so much to do for the whole family -- even the ones with four legs. The kids can adventure through the M-K-T Trick-or-Treat Trail with over 30 stops for sweets and treats. M-K-T’s shopping, dining, and wellness stores are also offering specials for those attending the event. Pick up a map and head on a scavenger hunt-like search throughout the plaza.

Also on-site is the HallowGreen market courtesy of Houston Plant Market. They will feature a diverse range of over 50 local pop-up vendors including rare and beginner-friendly plants, live tarot readings, and shopping. Kiddos in search of candy can create their own eco-conscious trick-or-treat paper bags at the Houston Plant Market tent.

For the not-so-talented plant moms and dads, here’s your chance to win the Houston Plant Market’s Ugly Plant Contest. Bring your most petrifying plants to the Houston Plant Market Community Tent for a chance to win prizes. Follow @houstonplantmarket and on social media for everything you need to know to have a scary good time.
