Chef Colbert also shares how to make their signature lobster mashed potatoes at home.
Lobster Mashed Potatoes
Featuring 1.25 pounds of live Maine lobster, removed from the shell. Then, chopped and sautéed in butter, charred scallions and Old Bay seasoning. Pour the lobster mixture over a generous portion of garlic mashed potatoes and garnish with chopped parsley.
Don’t forget about dessert!
“The number one item we sell has to be the butter cake. Every table gets a butter cake when they come to Mastro’s,” Colbert said.
Mastro’s Steakhouse is located near the Galleria in Houston’s Uptown District.
