HOUSTON – When disaster strikes, Best Friends Animal Society mobilizes to work with more than 5,000 partner organizations nationwide to ensure animals can get the care they need and find stable, loving homes.
As wildfires rage in California, BFAS’ emergency response team is on the ground to help support LA-based rescue groups and even coordinating the evacuation of nearly 100 pets to alleviate overcrowding in area shelters in partnership with Wings of Rescue.
