The Butt family, owners of Texas-based grocery store H-E-B, rank among America’s wealthiest families in 2020, according to a list compiled by Forbes.
The Butts rank No. 15 out of 50 of the richest families in the U.S., all worth at least $7.3 billion.

According to Forbes, the family behind H-E-B is worth $17.8 billion, up from $11 billion five years ago, according to My San Antonio.
Forbes’ last ranking of “America’s Richest Families,” curated in 2016, put the Butt family at the No. 23 spot.
From 2016 to 2020, H-E-B experienced an approximate increase of $8 billion in revenue.
Forbes reports the company’s revenue at $32.1 billion in 2020.
