KATY, Texas – Katy police are investigating the shooting of a man early this morning on Roberts Street. Police say the 41-year-old man was shot at about 5:30 a.m.
He was rushed to Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center by Life Flight.
The victim was in critical but stable condition Monday afternoon.
Police say the shooter fired at least eight shots at the man. The shooter took off in a white pickup and has not been found.
Police say the case was still under investigation. Neighbors said they were not sure what happened on their street early Monday morning.
