HOUSTON – A man accused of shooting his girlfriend has been arrested.
Fort Bend county sheriff's deputies said Michael Warren, 58, shot his girlfriend, Sylvia Casares, at a home in the Foster Creek subdivision between Richmond and Fulshear on Monday.

Casares, who owns Sylvia's Enchilada Kitchen, underwent surgery and is expected to recover. She is in stable condition in a Houston hospital.
Warren fled the scene after the shooting, but he was captured at a Rosenberg motel on Thursday. He has been charged with aggravated assault.
Warren is in the Fort Bend County Jail with bond set at $100,000.
