WALKER COUNTY, Texas – The body of a missing 14-year-old boy was found in a lake at the Sam Houston National Forest.
Officials said the teen was camping on a church retreat when he disappeared. He was found on Saturday in a lake.
The CEO of the Forest Glen Camp said it was the first time they had a camper drown in the 29 years he's been with the facility.
The Walker County Sheriff's Office is waiting on autopsy results to confirm the cause of death. But officials suspect an accidental drowning.
The teen's name was not released.
