HOUSTON – Three men forced their way into a southwest Houston home and made a woman inside remain nude during the attack.
Crystal Lester said she woke up in her home in the 4600 block of High Point on Friday morning to find two pistols and a shotgun trained on her husband.
Lester said she was sleeping in the nude and the robbers forced her to stay that way as they threatened to kill everyone in the house.
"I felt violated because they made me take off my clothes," Lester said. "I tried to cover myself and they made me take off my clothes – and my brother is right there."
Lester said her brother had been sleeping in another room.
"Kicked my door in right here and said 'get on the ground,' so I just got on the ground," Aaron Lester said.
The robbers forced Aaron Lester to crawl on the floor. He apparently didn't move fast enough, so one of the attackers tapped him on the head with a pistol, which went off.
"I'm sitting on the couch and all you hear is a gunshot going off," Crystal Lester said. "The two guys get up and leave … my husband chases after them. I see my brother lay down to the ground. I thought he was shot in the back of the head."
Aaron Lester said he, too, thought he had been shot.
"I thought they killed me," he said. "It just went all deaf and I didn't move or anything."
Aaron Lester was not wounded, but the gun discharge apparently scared the robbers. They ran away.
The attackers got away with a broken BlackBerry and a couple of used laptops.
The home was also broken into over the Christmas holidays and it's possible the same men committed both crimes.
Detailed descriptions of the robbers have not been released.
