HOUSTON – As part of the bankruptcy proceedings, Adair Appraisal Services took inventory of all of Dr. Michael Brown's possessions on Oct. 22.
The report said "the majority of items are found to be in average condition and of good quality."
Hundreds of pieces of property were appraised at a total value of $583,995.00
Local 2 obtained pictures of some of the items, including a gigantic stuffed grizzly bear valued at $5,000, a mounted lion and lioness valued at $4,000 and two ivory elephant tusks also valued at $4,000.
According to the documents, in 1989, ivory tusks became illegal to sell in the US. It's unclear when these were purchased.
