HOUSTON – International travel from Bush Intercontinental Airport will soon be a little easier.
On Wednesday, the Houston City Council approved a plan to allow the installation of automated passport kiosks.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency runs the kiosks.
The passport kiosks are self-service.
International passengers will be able to scan their own passport and complete declaration forms before reaching a customs and border protection checkpoint.
The kiosks are already in place Chicago O'Hare International Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.
