HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – All outbound mainlanes of Highway 290 between Pinemont Drive and West Road are closed for a multi-vehicle accident.
The accident was reported around 2:40 p.m. Wednesday.

Officials say all traffic is being rerouted to the feeder road while emergency crews and wreckers are on scene.
A suggested alternative route is taking I-10 to Eldridge to get back on to Highway 290.
