Investigators said three of the suspects, armed with shotguns, broke into Thomas Markle Jewelers in the 9500 block of Six Pines around 6:30 p.m.

They allegedly broke the glass display cases and took a variety of jewelry and watches. The suspects then fled in a white, four-door sedan. A fourth suspect served as the getaway driver.

A Shenandoah Police Department officer spotted the getaway vehicle driving south on I-45 and was quickly joined by a MCSO deputy. The suspects refused to stop and led officers on a chase into Harris County on the Hardy Toll Road, where other agencies joined in.

The pursuit ended when the suspects crashed into a pole on I-45 and HWY 249 in Houston. All four bailed out of the vehicle and fled on foot.

Multiple Law Enforcement Agencies responded to the area to assist including the Montgomery County Constables Office (Pct. 3), Houston Police Department (Patrol & Gang unit), Harris County Sheriff's Office, Harris County Constables Office (Pct. 4), and Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety.

One suspect was captured immediately near the Sonic Restaurant in the 9400 Block of I-45. Another suspect was captured as he ran through backyards of several nearby homes and the final two suspects were found inside the Sonic.

Moore, Piper, Robertson and Thurman were booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
