HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A FedEx package that was delivered to the wrong home helped Harris County Sheriff's Office investigators stop a significant drug operation.
Sheriff Adrian Garcia said the package in question was sent to the wrong address. It was mistakenly delivered to a neighbor.

"It was not addressed to the right person," Garcia said. "The address was wrong and then the contents were obviously narcotics."
He said the package was filled with cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine.
The woman who received the package handed it over to sheriff's deputies who delivered it to the correct address. They arrested the recipients it was allegedly intended for -- Michael Taylor and his wife Leslie Peck.
Deputies said they found a cache of firearms and more drugs in their house. Deputies believe the Xanax and Vicodin are likely stolen from a pharmacy. The weapons included an AR-15 assault rifle, shotguns and at least two pistols.
A third suspect, Stephanie Adams, was arrested in the house. Investigators say Adams was using methamphetamine when they arrived, while her 5-year-old was sleeping in another room.
Taylor and Peck are facing three counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. Taylor is being held in the Harris County jail on no bond. Peck is being held in the Harris County jail on a $90,000 bond.
Adams, who is charged with possession of a controlled substance, posted a $5,000 bond.
