HOUSTON – Twenty dogs were seized from two properties in the Highlands owned by the same person on Tuesday, according to the Houston Humane Society.
Officers began investigating 100 Grace Lane and 111 Grace Lane after a bite case involving a dog was reported. HHS said many of the dogs were confined to kennels covered in filth and feces, and their environment was so deplorable it was hazardous to their health.
