HOUSTON – Surveillance video captured former Houston council member Jolanda Jones chasing after car burglars.
Cameras showed Jones running out and leaping onto the hood of the burglar's car after they took off with a purse and computer from her car.
It happened outside a radio station in the Houston Museum District. Her right ankle was run over and hurt when she fell off.
Jones tried to follow the thieves in her car, but lost them.
