According to Henry Yau, with the museum, Memorial's principal was in attendance and decided to end the party early around 11 p.m. because the students were being rowdy and disrespectful toward the museum staff.

The students broke an ice cream maker at a concession stand, Yau said.

He said there was no serious vandalism.
