Video shows teen being struck by car following brawl in southeast Houston

HOUSTON – Houston police told KPRC 2 that they have the name of the passenger that was in this car that plowed into a group of people Friday at Cullen Middle School.

They said the driver was a woman in her 20's.

What started as a fight between a group of teenage girls, ended when one of them got into their car and ran over 14-year-old DeBrianna Hunter. The entire incident was caught on camera and is making its way around social media.

"Left her for dead, you just left my daughter for dead," her mother, Aurelia Hunter, said. "Her hips are broken, her pelvis is crushed, she has metal plates in her hips, her leg is broken, her ribs are broken, her liver is bleeding."

It all started on the campus of Cullen Middle School around 4 p.m. Thursday.

On the video, people can be heard screaming after seeing DeBreanna come rolling out from under the car. The video is too graphic to show. DeBreanna's little sister was there and witnessed the whole thing.

The teen's family hasn't left her side while she undergoes multiple tests and surgeries.

"My daughter is literally fighting for her life, even to her worst enemy I wouldn't put this on my worst enemy, never, not in a million years, this is horrible," Hunter said.

She has a message for the person who did this to her daughter.

"I want her to know, it is not over. Just because you got away with it that day, you are going to jail," she said.

Anyone with information about that driver is asked to call Houston police.
