FRIENDSWOOD, Texas – A single-engine aircraft had a rough landing Thursday morning at a private airstrip Friendswood, police confirm.
The fixed wing aircraft went down in the 2200 block of Airline in the Polly Ranch subdivision.

The Friendswood Police Department received the call at 7:54 a.m. when the aircraft clipped a tree with its wing and spun the aircraft around.
No injuries were reported.
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is on the scene and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has the runway shut down.
