NBC News – Matt Hill may be the most popular man in Fife Lake, Michigan.
He's been overwhelmed by phone calls and text messages ever since his coworkers thought it would be fun to put his picture and phone number on a billboard to try and get him a Valentine's Day date.

"I'm real out of my comfort zone doing this," he says.
Since the billboard went up and was featured in local news reports, the story has gone viral and Matt's gotten more than 600 phone calls, text messages, and emails from people from all over the country, and even outside of it.
"I was thinking a little local cute story and for it to go as huge as it did, was amazing," said Annette Houghton, Matt's boss and one of the masterminds behind the billboard.
"Yeah, Matt just ran away from us," laughed James Somers, another coworker and mastermind.
Matt says his friends originally bought him a track phone with a separate phone number for the billboard, but when texting through T9 format became too difficult, they switched the numbers to his personal cell phone.
He says he'll probably be getting a new number sometime this week.
But now the world wants to know, 'Did Matt get a date for Valentine's Day?'
Sadly, he did not. However what's better is the three dates he now has for later on in the week.
We asked Matt how he narrowed all of the potential hopefuls down to such a small number...
"They were pretty persistent on getting a hold of me so I figured I'd give them a go and we started talking and we had a lot in common," Matt said.
Matt says he wasn't disappointed at all to not find a date for Sunday. In fact he got a lot of love from people all over the country who messaged him just to say, 'Happy Valentine's Day.'
So what's Matt planning to wear for his three big dates this week?
"Probably just casual stuff, t-shirt, my boots, and jeans," he said.
Where will he take them?
"Probably just dinner and a movie, just to get to know them," he said.
Where's dinner?
"Chinese is out there," Matt laughed. "I'm not sure. I'll ask them what they prefer and I'm not a real picky eater."
Matt says even if the dates don't turn out to be relationships, he says he's gained a lot of friends through this experience.
But could one of his dates become his true love?
"It's a possibility, you never know," he smiled.
