A threat was made against Seven Lakes Junior High School via social media Thursday, officials said.
Friday Katy Independent School District sent the following letter to parents:

Dear Seven Lakes Junior High Parents/Guardians,
We want to make you aware that a threat was made on Thursday, April 13 against Seven Lakes Junior High via social media.
School administrators and Katy ISD Police immediately investigated, and the students who made the threat have been identified and will be disciplined accordingly.
Students and staff were not in danger at any time, and classroom instruction was not impacted.
At SLJH, safety is our highest priority, and we take all reports of threats seriously. We’d like to take this opportunity to urge you to talk to your child about the importance of reporting any threats he/she sees or hears to an administrator immediately.
Thank you for your continued support and helping to keep our school community safe.
