BENSON, N.C. – A North Carolina teen caught is becoming a big star after reeling in a record-breaking catfish.
Landon Evans, 15, had no idea just how big the fish were that lurk beneath the lake waters of a town in Benson.

It took him 30 minutes and the help of his parents to finally net a massive blue catfish.
The four-and-a-half foot long catfish weighed in at 117 pounds and 8 ounces, beating out three state records.
For now, the records are good enough for Landon, who says he hopes to reel in an even a bigger fish story.
